I met Peter and Chiropractic in August, 1982, while nursing his great-aunt.
My initial consultation, X-rays and first adjustment happened a few weeks later, and I have been adjusted regularly ever since. Recent x-rays reveal none of the “normal” spinal degeneration that we would expect to see 28 years down the track.
I left my nursing career to be Chiropractic Assistant at Westleigh Chiropractic Clinic when we married in 1984. We have 3 children, Charlotte, Harriet and Oscar who have received chiropractic care since birth. Charlotte had her 1st adjustment 20 minutes after delivery.
It’s wonderful to share the chiropractic journey with our patients; from the curious and hesitant new patient to the proud author of a testimonial for our Chiropractic Stories folder.
I love that I belong to a profession that promotes health and wellness from tiny newborns to fine vintages!! I love listening to the parents of the now sleeping newborn, the earache-free toddlers, the children enjoying learning at school, the sporting achievements. I love hearing about less pain, less stress, more sleep, more gardening, more travel... I love people enjoying and living their life with Chiropractic!

After being exposed to such fantastic health care from a very young age I decided to pursue the profession as a career myself. Chiropractic always has been and always will be my number one health approach as I know from first hand, everything works, feels and moves better after an adjustment.
I have completed two years at Macquarie University but will finish my chiropractic education at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in Auckland from February 2011.
Although I won't be working at the clinic regularly I'll still be there in semester breaks.
I am confident that I have chosen the best career possible. Hearing patient’s stories about their success and how much better they feel after their last visit I am so proud to work in a clinic that is making people lives better and healthier everyday. Seeing the difference in the patients each visit from being unhappy and tired to being cheerful and energetic is inspiring and exciting!
Chiropractic is my life and I am so lucky to work in such a great environment and share the chiropractic journey with so many others.

I have been a Chiropractic Assistant for only a short time, as I worked for General Practitioners in Ireland for over 16 years, before moving to Sydney, with my husband and our three daughters.
I have now discovered the 'Wonders of Chiropractic' and thoroughly enjoy working in Westleigh Chiropractic Clinic as it’s such a happy positive work environment. I keenly support Peter and Christian to promote and achieve better health for the community.
I'm still learning new things every day and enjoy listening to patients who tell me all about the outcomes they receive from regular chiropractic care.
Chiropractic will now be part of my life, and my family’s life forever.
